5 reasons to buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will be launching in India on November 22 and after its India launch, the smartphone will be going on sale from the very next day. The hype around Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and its expected price in India have been very high as it has become Xiaomi’s first smartphone to come with a quad camera set up while just like its predecessor, it will be launched in the budget segment despite having some premium features.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, which will have dual rear cameras on both side i.e. front and rear, will come with a price tag between Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000, just the Redmi Note 5 Pro. While a competitive pricing can turn out to be a great thing for the device, it will be rising on the legacy of Redmi Note 5 Pro.
To recall, it has been confirmed that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will come with a 6.26-inch Full HD+ display offering 19:9 aspect ratio, Qualcomm’s Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 processor, at least 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage and Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box with MIUI 10 on top. For optics, there will be a 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel camera at the rear and a 20-megapixel + secondary 2-megapixel front camera module while the whole package will be packed by a 4000mAh battery.
Here we take a look at some of the reasons why Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro should be your preferred smartphone under the Rs. 20,000 price tag. These reasons include the overall package, the credentials of its predecessor, Xiaomi’s tendency to offer more for less and more.

5 reasons why Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro should be your preferred smartphone under Rs. 20,000
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro’s price in India
The Redmi Note 6 Pro was launched in Thailand at THB 6,990 (roughly Rs. 15,200) for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB model which means that the handset is highly likely to launch in India in the same segment as that of the Redmi Note Pro, which is still a more VFM package than its competitors. By bringing quad cameras to the mix and a price between 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 will make Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro a nonsense phone in India.
Quad cameras
Two are always better than one and what’s even better? Having four cameras on a smartphone. There are not many quad camera smartphones in the segment apart from a couple of offerings from Honor. However, with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, you will get a better hardware and optimised software for the cameras.
First phone with four cameras from Xiaomi
Being the first phone with four cameras from Xiaomi is itself a pretty big deal and the Chinese smartphone maker could have introduced this feature in a more premium segment, but, Xiaomi knows the worth of this budget smartphone segment and is trying to give the best hardware possible with its first ever phone with four cameras and that too without increasing the prices much.
Latest MIUI 10
With a dependable hardware, Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro users will also get the new MIUI 10 skin on top of Android 8.1 Oreo which means that they will be able to use features such as New Recent Menu, Picture-in-Picture Mode, Autofill Support, AI Features, Improved Screen Recording, Quick Pay shortcut in Quick Ball and more.
The Redmi Note 5 Pro legacy
If you would still love to own the Redmi Note 5 Pro and think that it is one the best smartphones in this segment, then Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will be a step ahead for you. It comes will almost all the similar hardware present in the Redmi Note 5 Pro but adds quad cameras, a bigger display, and better OS to the mix. All of this, without asking for much of a price hike.
